I have a boyfriend that was placed in hospice 6 weeks ago. Taken by his daughter and ex-wife, to Ohio. I don't really know if he is dead or alive at this point. They have shut me out completely.
I have received 5 fraud protection calls, asking if he made any purchases. The purchases were made in Ohio. They will not give me much information, since they are not my cards. We lived together for 8 years. He moved out about 5 months ago, not wanting to die at my place, due to his family.
They must have gotten into his apartment and taken his credit cards and are running them up. I'm guessing, they are also taking his social security direct deposits also. I have no idea where he is in Ohio. He was not capable of giving permission, nor would he have given her permission to use his cards.
What are the chances they will prosecute her?
The man only lived on social security, and received medicare and medicare.
he owns nothing but personal belongings, and furniture. |

he owns nothing but personal belongings, and furniture. | Unless you are on his account, you have no say in the matter. In fact when you get these calls you need to state that he moved and you do not have his contact information.
