i live in massachusettes and have an auto loan from new jersey. i made all 42 of my contractual payments but the loan company states that i owe more due to late fees. i have written to the company directly asking for summary of my payment history and all applied late fees. i also advised that my final balance, which consists of late fees, is being disputed because several of the fees are invalid. i have yet to receive anything in writing, as requested, from the company. due to their lack of a written response, i was forced to write to the bbb of new jersey, the attorney generals office of new jersey, and the federal trade commission asking for assistance. my original letter to the company in questions was received by them on feb 12. however, i am still getting collection calls and now they are threatening to charge off my account. i can safely say that they never placed my account in dispute because of their calls. what can i due to get a written response from them and what are my legal options to stop this company from charging off the account and forcing me to pay more than what i owe?

Sounds like you have exhausted all possible resources. Check your contract with this loan company. Does it say loser pays attorney fees? If so, go out and hire yourself an attorney and file a lawsuit for bad faith breach, harassment, abuse of civil process, etc.
