validation


What is the name of your state? TX

I sent a letter requesting validation to a CA, I've had no response I have a certified receipt and its over 30days whats the next step.

Get a copy of your credit report from the 3 CRAs and request an investigation. If the creditor or the CA do not validate it within 30 days the debt will be removed from your credit report.

I don't think it will be that simple. My suggestion.. go over to [url]www.creditnet.com[/url] and look at the sample validation letters there. They have a couple that directly address this issue. Pick one that suits you, modify it to your needs and send it off. I'd still try contacting the CRA's, but it may not be easy to get it removed.

Over at [url]www.creditinfocenter.com[/url] they have a really good section on debt validation, you might want to read it.
