| Sorry, but it isn't that simple. Though the liability for the unpaid debt of the reposession and its costs may not be incurred by your new husband, you can't just get married and forget about YOUR credit history.
Anytime you apply for credit (car, furniture, house, etc.) YOUR credit history will be reviewed and it could cause a denial of credit. Or at least will cause you to get a sub-prime (higher) interest rate to make up for the higher risk incurred by the creditor.
And if the auto lender isn't paid in full for the debt (and costs of repo), then he could get a judgment against you that could 'follow you' to your new marriage and location.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).
Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
