Made investment, funds not returned as stated

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TX
I invested (or loaned, with interest) money in a friend's business and he has failed to pay the money back. I have a contract which details all amounts etc. However, the contract is not signed by either party. Is it still enforceable? Can I sue? Help!What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
