Ponzi Scheme victims needs legal advice

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY
As Agapeworld Ponzi scheme victims we need to know if is necessary to get a lawyer to try to get some money back or let the Federal agencies SEC, FBI & USPIS decide how they are going to get money back to investors?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
