apartment complex filed chapter 11

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? tennessee
I recieved a notice of bar date for filling claims in the mail when my apts. filed chapter 11. I called and questioned if this would effect the deposit we put down on our apartment, and was told i did indeed need to fill out the form 10 proof of claim. my question is if I am going to lose my deposite do i still need to pay the rent or should I tell them that they can use my deposit they are keeping for this months rent. I dont want to continue to pay the rent and loose my $2000 deposit. what do I do?

**A: you will not lose your deposit as the BK Trustee will account for it.
