Personal bankruptcy affect property agents. For example, listing agents are typically hurt when their short benefit sellers file for bankruptcy. It is now common for a consumer's agent to discover that a builder/seller has registered bankruptcy. Actual Property agents need to have a basic understanding of some features of bankruptcy law to direct their clients and, perhaps more importantly, to make choices for themselves about how to save lots of their time and other resources.

The bankruptcy filing of one business can produce a negative ripple effect touching every company that does business with the debtor specifically small businesses.

. . .and one person who revives an old 2011 thread to post a comment can produce a negative ripple effect.

Please do not add comments to an old thread. On this forum it is called "necroposting" and it is not appreciated.

Thank you for, in the future, reading the dates on the threads and limiting your postings to recently created ones (unless your posts are spam as they have been in the past - in that case, I suggest you limit yourself to reading the threads and not posting anything yourself at all).
