Bank charged us for their legal fees!

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? IL

My mom has been charged with structuring and the bank that is involved took money out of her two accounts to pay for their expenses in this matter. My mom never agreed to anything, actually the bank went against my mom.

Are they allowed to just take money out from your account just like that. They are claiming its in the Rules and Regulations.

Sorry if I posted this in the wrong category, I didn't know where to post it.

Ask to see a copy of the bank's justification. I'll bet mom agreed to it as part of the account terms when she opened the account...
