What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mi
I have a contract for a renovation on a residential home, i am a general contractor licensed in Mich, the job has run over time and material, not including any office cost or sales man commissions, can i ask the homeowner to cover any additional cost even thou we have a contract ?

**A: what provisions do you have for such change orders in your contract?
Off hand I would say you have no right to charge extra.
