Email address for contract notifications vs mailing address

I've always required a physical mailing address for notifications regarding the contracts I enter to with other parties. However, now that I do all my contracts electronically through email, I'm wondering if I even need to include a physical mailing address anymore. Is the email address alone sufficient or should I still require the physical mailing address too?
