I live in Santa Clara County, CA and currently perform the business as Sole Proprietor. I have a contract between me and another business about selling software. I plan to convert to a LLC.

Do all existing contracts stay legally binding without any change?
Is it possible to amend the contracts to update the company name?
Do the contracts have to be updated to the new company name in a certain amount of time?
