What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I would like to post the names of the clients who refuse to pay me, on an online database, attached to my webpage, that will be password protected. I will make the database available to others in my industry so that I do not end up extending credit to their non-paying customers and vice versa.

Would like to find out if I am breaking any laws (defamation of character, privacy, slander, etc...). All clients have active, legal contracts.

Thanks for any help!

While, if true, you won't be in violation of any statute, why do it? Is it really worth it to you? I guarantee you will be sued at some point. Even if you win, you are out attorney fees.
