What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca
Would you like to add some details about the auto sale, Andres559?

Following are links to California's "lemon laws" as they apply to private used car sales, and the information provided in these links may answer any questions you have. If they don't, please post back and we can try to address your concerns.

(Your second link didn't work.)

The California lemon law won't apply to this OP - the car is well beyond any manufacturer's new car warranty.

My hope was that Andres559 would read the information provided in the links (which I think I fixed, by the way) and learn for himself about personal used car sales and that his car buyer does not have the lemon law to rely on. :)

Although I can't see offhand that any additional information Andres559 might add would allow for the purchaser to have some claim against him, I hesitate to say that the purchaser doesn't. A legal action certainly isn't apparent from the little that has been posted so far, though.

I thought that might be the case ;)

I agree. I can see some possible scenarios where it could play out that the buyer would have a viable case, but without more information (ie: specific representations made, etc), I doubt any of them would pan out.
