I need to terminate a contract

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? missouri
I have a lawn-care contract with a local entity of homeowners in a small burb.I want to terminate my contract.Do i need a reason.?new officers in HOA have began reading the contract differently and is costing more monies to please them.and very slow pay.not bidding next year so...

Does the contract call for you to perform a specific service, or does it call for you to please the officers.

If the former, I would continue performing the service as before.
