What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas / California / Nevada

I live in Texas. A few months ago I signed an agreement with a company that's registered in Nevada and operates out of California.

The agreement contains a non-compete clause that I'm slightly confused about. I was under the impression that these clauses weren't legal in California.

For the sake of making life a bit easier, I've copied the parts of the contract I'm referring to.

This is where the company states they are registered in Nevada: http://i.imgur.com/QhY8MCx.png

This is where they state that the Choice of Law & Venue is California: http://i.imgur.com/9UChEWq.png

And this is the actual non-disclosure clause I'm referring to: http://i.imgur.com/pYoI9G0.png

I understand that there are certain things that the company can rightfully prevent such as stealing customers or using trade secrets. However, what I'm wondering is whether or not the company can actually enforce this non-disclosure clause and prevent me from selling similar services.

Any advice you can provide would be highly appreciated.
