When a minor makes a purchase, do the parents have the right to return it without the child's permission?

I'm referring to US law anyways. Can you provide the law? Or point me in the right direction?
Until you reach the age of majority, your parents can do just about anything within reason they feel is necessary for your upbringing. That includes returning purchases they deem you should not have, unless we are talking medically necessary health equipment.
