Unseating an HOA Officer and Enforcing

Georgia

I am a member of an HOA in a small community of 24 homes. Our members have petitioned to have an officer removed and the process was done using our bylaws in which it states that "an officer may be removed for any good cause." We petioned the community and got over half the members to sign the petition and then held a Special Meeting and took votes (as noted in the bylaws) but our HOA management company is saying that our bylaws do not state how this is to be done so it is not legal. Earlier they had given us the instructions on how to go about unseating him and then they came back saying it does not state "how" to do it. That is not what the bylaws say and the officer will not step down. How do we go about enforcing our decision and if the bylaws state that any officer may be removed for any reason, does a specific way to do it (we sent him certified letter giving him 15 days to dispute) have to be specified?
