3 business days to cancel sale agreement?


What is the name of your state? Georgia
I have read that in some states after signing a sale agreement for a house that there is a 3 business day window for either side to cancel the contract. (originally to allow both sides to take the contract to their attorney for review). Is this true of GA?

**A: please define house ie. mobile home considered personal property or house and land considered real property. And if personal property, where the contract was signed ie. door to door (at your residence), mobile home dealer lot etc.
Lastly, please state your specific circumstance rather than beating around the bush.

3 business days to cancel sale agreement


The house is real property. As for beating around the bush, Iapologize..the specifics are that we entered into an agreement to buy/sell real property but the next day advised the other party we had changed our minds and the question relates directly to this situation.

**A: ok, now that I understand your question her eis my response.
There is no 3 day right or rescision for the purchase of real property unless specifically agreed to in the contract. Read your contract and look for another "out".
