additional feesWhat is the name of your state? MD Buying new home from builder, house originally designed to have a side garage, no mention of a fee when signing contract. Five months later, they indicate we have to pay for side garage. Second, because of a building envelope we cannot get a sunroom added to our home. They have offered to put the sunroom on the side of the home, but we have to pay for an architectural drawing. Are we obligated for these fees? |

| Q1) "Buying new home from builder, house originally designed to have a side garage, no mention of a fee when signing contract. Five months later, they indicate we have to pay for side garage." A1) What does the contract say as to the garage?? Does the contract reference specific floor plans?? Do those floor plans show the side garage?? Is there a garage on the plans, but you just want to move it?? What DID you purchase??? Q2) "Second, because of a building envelope we cannot get a sunroom added to our home. They have offered to put the sunroom on the side of the home, but we have to pay for an architectural drawing." A2) That is correct. Usually any 'architectural' changes would require design, revisions to the drawing and possible permit issues. You would be responsible for the added cost of the changes.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
