What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
We recently sold our home in Nov. 2009 and in the disclosure we clearly stated that there was dampness in the basement after heavy downpours. In addition, the home inspector indicated that there was evidence of moisture/dampness in the past. However, this was not brought up at all by the inspector or the home-buyers as problem.
It is now two months aft the sale and after the first heavy snowfall that we've experienced in years, buyer is asking us to pay for the expenses in fixing the problem. Since we clearly disclosed the issue, are we under any legal obligation?
