Question

Am I entitled?

What is the name of your state?California
Am i entitled to 50% of the equity on the home that i am listed as a Joint Tenant, regardless of what i paid into the mortgage? Can i be taken to court if i request 50% of the house profit?

**A: at face value yes, but if the other tenant proves equitable fairness, you will not be in a 50% position.
