Am I entitled to any profits??

What is the name of your state? west seneca,ny
In OCt. 2002, My now ex-fiance and I sold our home of 5 yrs in Pompano Beach,FL which both names were on and put $10,000 of the profits towards a new house in Port ST Lucie,FL which he would not let me be on. We split in 2005 and he sold that house for $280,000 which was double what he bought it for ($139,500) am I entitled to any profits since part of the down payment was from my half of the profits from the previous house? He kicked me and our 2 kids out of this house in June 2005 and left us with basically nothing. I had no where to go except coming back here to NY so I would have some support from my family to start over.

And how do you intend to prove you owned half?

Wink

proof

I have papers still and past payments of the mortgage that have both our names on. My credit report still shows the mortgage company attatched to my name.

You have no proof that you owned the home. Only that you owned a part of the mortgage.

ANd you did not explain how he kept you off the deed.

I'm not going to sit here and play 20 questions with you. Either answer the question posed or wait for someone else.

Was you name on the house?

How did he keep "your" money from you?

What kind of ownership agreement did you two have?
