angry sellers What is the name of your state? Indiana We sold a house contract for deed. the document was something that we typed up and had notorized. Does this make it a binding document? The document states that the buyer has to come up with the funds to get the house in his name after we pay the second mortgage off. Well, we payed the second mortgage off told them that, they said they would call about getting a loan. They have made no attempt to get a loan because they cant get one. Now we heard they are gonna find another house to rent. There is damage to the house, but we put no stipulations on the contract are they still responsible for the damage and could we take them to court over this? Also have long would we have to give them that would seem ample time to get a loan, we have given them 4 months. One other thing by law how many days to we have to give them to get out? What can we do after that period is up and they haven't got out? I was told we could give them 30 days then if they were still there to get the cops and they would give them 24hrs. to get whatever if left and if not then whatever they don't get in 24 hrs stays.
