attorney review question

What is the name of your state? NJ

I recently made an offer on a house that was accepted. Contracts were signed and it is now in attorney review. My realtor said I should tell my lawyer to rush it through attorney review so nobody else can make an offer on it. I thought once a contract went into attorney review, nobody else could make a higher offer. Who is right?
