| bad buyer/mortgage co What is the name of your state? TX
We have a contract on our existing home that stated we would close on June 27th or within 7 days. Our buyer's mortgage company and lender are behind on their files and we still do not have a closing date in place (today is 7-7) We got no notice from the buyer's realtor that we would not be closing on the 27th. He filed an extension on 6-28 to close by July 4th which has not happened. We were prepared to close on the 27th. THe mortgage company and lender as well as the buyer's realtor claim all is fine with our buyers file, but keep putting off the closing and will not give our realtor, title company, or myself the name/number of his lender. Can/Should we hold anyone liable for this as well as for the additional expenses we've incurred during this time frame? |
