If you accepted a counter-offer and emailed your acceptance (hopefully with received confirmation), and followed up by sending the signed contract, I believe you have a good contract.
An email, although it does not contain a handwritten signature could still be used as communication of offer's and acceptance. In the near future, you will see "Electronic Signatures" widely used**************"Put in your pin code......there's your signature."
If you have a signed agreement in your hands, that does not contain any counters, then take all your documents to a REAL ESTATE ATTORNEY. And, inform all the parties involved (Agent's, Broker's, Seller) what you are going to do**************...get the attorney involved**************it doesn't look like anyone is working in YOUR best interest!!!!
