Boss buying a vacation home

What is the name of your state? Colorado

From what I gather my boss is purchasing a vacation home in the US Virgin Islands and has used some of the businesses profits set aside in a separate savings account as a down payment for this. My concern is that I plan to take over the business in several years and feel as if this is money taken away from my future business. I also don't know the legal terms of doing something like this. We do have an accountant, so I imagine he would say something if they weren't able to do this. Also, I'm sure the company will be paying for part of the mortgage, utilities, etc. Where should a line be drawn and how do I present my concern to the owner? Or is this any of my concern? It's hard to see money spent like this when I know it is coming out of the company's pocket that I plan on taking over eventually. Thank you for your time.

You're wrong. It is his business. If you buy the business in a few years, then you will base your decision on the worth of the company at that time.

If he took the money, and, instead, wrote himself a check for that amount, and then bought the home, it would be the same thing. Its none of your business.
