Broker Cancels Listing Agreement

What is the name of your state?
Florida
During negotiations with a prospective buyer, our listing agent became argumentative and ultimately decided to cancel the listing contract between us and her. The listing agreement states that the commission is payable for a period of 180 days after the termination date of if we sell our house to anyone the listing agent had communication with regarding the house. The termination date of the listing agreement is in the middle of February.
My question is this: if we ultimately sell the house to the buyers involved in the current negotiations, are we still bound by that 180 day obligation even though the listing agent initiated the termination of the agreement prior to the stated termination date?

**A: the 180 day period is a moot point because you would still owe commission based on procurring cause.
