Buyer trying to back out of contractI am scheduled to close on my house in two weeks, the buyer came by our house two days ago for another walk through. My realtor contacted me today and said that the buyer thinks we put in a different refrigerator (older model), then when they first looked out the house, which we have not. I am thinking that the buyer may be trying to back out of the contract by saying this. Can the buyer back out of the contract over something like this? The inspections are all done, the buyers loan has been approved, appraisals, and repairs per the contract have been done. Thank you for any advise, Mike |

| Tell your agent to tell their agent that you have not changed out any refrigerator and that you expect them to comply with the contract. Then, if they balk, threaten a lawsuit. If they still balk, sue them for breach... or keep the earnest money and sell to someone else.

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
