I am the seller of a house. All contingencies have been met so far and the sale was due to close next week. The buyer did not meet their inspection contingency. They met their loan contingency. The buyer wants to delay close by at least two weeks. They "found a better loan." They are willing to cover the extra mortgage and HOA payments. This situation makes me really nervous.
