California law re: escrow datesWhat is the name of your state? California My brother is trying to sell his house in San Diego while living in Indianapolis. His realtor, who is also a lawyer, presented a contract from a buyer he is also representing. As it turns out, there is no escrow date on the ratified contract between the buyer and seller. The listing expires on September 5th, so does this mean this contract does too? Needless to say, we do not trust this realtor/lawyer. Is there a way out of this deal without having to pay a lot of money or risk getting sued. Thanks for any help you can provide. |

Even if the listing expires, the contract is still enforceable. ********* *********** Needless to say, we do not trust this realtor/lawyer.
