california statutes

What is the name of your state?California

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the time limit is on filing for mold, real estate disclosure fraud? I found out that my lawyer, who has been dragging me for 21 months, may have gone past some of my statutes and we are in the process of going with another. We were working with contingency, and there is nowhere in my contract stating that if we fire him, we owe anything. Can he still collect any money at the end? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

o.k. let me explain! I moved into my home and a week later it leaked inside due to the rain. sellers realtor admitted to flooding in escrow with a "but sellers fixed it" attitude. Disclosure fraud! My lawyer has been dilly dallying for 22 months. we do not even have a lawsuit yet due to my lawyer is still trying to mediate. I found out that this should have taken two months or so. My question is does anyone know what the statutes are for number 1. claiming mold and 2. filing disclosure fraud? Thanks

They admitted there was a problem RED FLAG~RED FLAG~RED FLAG and it was supposedly fixed, now lets play a game, WHAT should your next move have been?

What did you do to protect your own investment after discovering the leak?

When your inspector looked at this area, ooops I gave away the answer , was there previous mold or just what happened as the result of the leak you discovered?

Good Lord get another Atty!

WOW!!!!!! You are just full of such useful information I don't even know what to do with it (but I have a hint of an idea where you can put your smart*** comments). I have a new att. looking at my case, being that I never experienced this situation before, I believed my att when he kept telling me not to worry that everything is in order and we are on the right track. I happened to run into someone (coincidentally) on a mold sight who happens to be suing the same company, who bought his home within days of my purchase and who has the same problems with disclosure issues. The difference is, is that he has had a court case since sept 04. Now that I miraculously found this guy, his att (who is jumping up and down) is looking into my case. I JUST THOUGHT THAT I COULD GET A REASONABLE ANSWER TO A SINCERE QUESTION. I thought I am in a website that helps answer legal questions. I apologize, I must have entered the hide behind my computer and spew **** to innocent people site!
