| Can I back out if no access for lender? What is the name of your state?Ohio
After putting 10% down on property acquired at a 'seized property auction', the company managing the property has failed to provide access to all units of the property so that the lender can appraise it. As it is, my loan cannot be approved at this point until they see the entire property. The property is a 4 unit multi-family. In the contract, if I fail to acquire financing I am 'not relieved of legal liability to complete the sale.' Also if I am in default they will keep my deposit as liquidated damages. My question is that if they failed to provide access to the property for my lender to see it, do I have any recourse? |
