Can I be forced to sell?

Here is my situation, I have a home that was in foreclosure, A guy came by the house and said he could help and that he had done some research and he would purchase my home for 140,000 I said that I would not sell it that cheap, he said then that he would look into my situation further and get back to me but that he needed me to sign a release of information that that he could do his research, I honestly did not pay attention to what I was signing and it turns out it was a blank purchase and sales agreement not the document that he stated. I got a packet of forms from the title company called a estimated settlement statement and it says that I would have to pay $17,500 to sell my home to him. First I dont have that kind of money, second I would let it go back to the bank before paying to sell my home and third a realtor says that my home is worth about 85K more then what he put on the agreement. However he states that he has my signatures and will force me to sell him the house or he will file a lawsuit against me. I just want to keep my home and the bank has agreed to work with me, what do I do please help.

Thanks,
Dnjsdad

If you sign the papers, then that means you have agree to the scam.

Tell the title company that this is a scam.

Legal aid is a taxpayer funded organization that forces your neighbors to pay for your lawyer.

Google

[your state name] legal aid

First and foremost start paying attention to what you sign.

Second when reading your story I get a very distinct feeling that this story has a few more details that have been left out or shown in your favor.

A: You can be sued in a lawsuit for breach of contract. If you lose, there would be judgment against you and your assets could be sold to satisfy the judgment.
