Can I be on the mortgage and not the title?I am in California. I recently had a run in that could have gone bad and cost me everything. I have a family and would like to protect them from any future trouble by distancing myself from any shared assets. I don't mind giving the house and all it's equity to my wife and children. Can I do this? Should I do this? Will this help if I'm sued in the future? |
