can you save my home??

What is the name of your state? Oregon
i am buying a home from a private party. a year ago the private parties home burned down with the home owners contract. we had not yet recieved our copy of the contract. since the fire the private party has dragged their feet on completing the new contracts. we are afraid that they will come back and say all our money invested was rental payments or somthing. we have nothing proving either way except our cancelled check with house payment written on the bottom and receipts showing we have paid money. we even tried to get a final total so we could pay them off with bank loan;they are still shuffling their feet. what can i do to save my investment??
i know we really screwed up on this one!!

*** At this point, nothing. I would emphasis with the owner to get the contracts complete, but the reality is, since you failed in getting a copy of the documents, you are really at the 'mercy' of the situation.

There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution).

Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport!

**A: without a written purchase contract as evidence, it appears that you were renters.
