changing name on deed**************What is the name of your state? property in fla**************..My cousin who lives in Mass. has been paying taxes on her father's property for years... He has been deseased for about ten years but his name is still on the deed.....She is the only child......Does anyone know how she can change the title to her name and sell the property.....Any help will be appreciated************** ![]() |

| Probate. Presumably, there is no will? If not, property disposition would be in accordance with that state's intestate probate statutes. What was his state of residence?

| There was a will and my cousin got everything they had..... but the property was not mentioned in the will**************I am not sure if there was a probate or not**************she is the only heir**************... |

| A probate should have handled the deed. It needs to be done or reopened to do it. |
