I am in the last day of my contract in Northern California.

I used the sellers agent as my agent as well. For a long time I didn't realize they were just keeping me as a backup.
Eventually they gave me the contract on July 7 but with a signed date of June 27. We had 17 days inspection and 21 days loan contingency. I have not removed any contingency. My responses to the agent with the list of inspection requirements were not answered. Now the agent is not responding. Am I protected? What should I do. Does a contract expire/ carry over after the 30 days close of escrow stated in it?

At this point I am not interested in this home anymore.

Thanks.
