We are supposed to close on a home tomorrow and have learned, by accident that the closing won't be tomorrow but maybe Thursday. What are our legal rights? This type of thing has been going on continuously and we are never notified in writing or even a call.

Do you have a Realtor? Do you have an escrow officer? These closing extensions and status should be communicated to you by both of these people.
You need to review the closing date stated on the contract and any term and condition in the said contract such as time is of the essence, automatic extension, mututal extension, unilateral extension, general extension of closing etc..
