Notify the title company. In the end though, it may be one of the parties who owe you money and you'll have to make the claim against them.

Thanks for your reply. The funds were not disbursed on Friday because lender sent them to the wrong address so the funds will be disbursed on Monday morning. Will this make it easier to repair the problem?

Yes, it will make it easier. I suggest you be at the title company when they open their doors for business on Monday morning.

**A: so where did the rest of the funds go based on your review of the HUD-1?

We paid $5,120 for upgrades to home that was under construction.
This amount is not accounted for on settlement.
Home was $176,000. When our upgrades were added, the price of home became $181,120.
We should owe the $176000 but it shows $181,120.

**A: did you pay for the upgrades directly to the builder?
