| Our prospective buyer, who has excellent credit references with very good financial background had been turned down by the co-op board. At the co-op board interview the buyer was asked to submit additional business references. Buyer told that he was trying to get it by next day. As he is working for a bigger company, he submitted these business references in one week. He has not been informed a deadline for submitting these papers neither in oral nor in written form. Can it be the reason for rejecting him? We feel that the board decision is unjust, and absolutely not proportionate with the buyer's act, let alone the fact that we had loss from this decision. Can we find legal recourse even if the Proprietory Lease of the Building does not require to reason its decision?
