Co-Owner Won't Sell

What is the name of your state? Virginia

I currently own a house with another person. I would like to move out, but the other owner can't afford to buy me out, and will not allow the house to get sold.

What can I do?

thanks for the info, hopefully it doesn't have to come to that. But he's trying to say that he legally isn't obligated to sell or buy me out. Now I know and can hopefully convince him otherwise.

Good for you. Remember, don't get angry, get even.
