Confused on offers

What is the name of your state?
Ohio

I recently put an offer on a home. There was then a counter offer from the seller, I tried to get the price down a little which was refused. I then accepted the seller's counter offer. I just received a call from my realtor saying that the seller has a bad feeling about me and won't sell the home to me because I countered they're offer. I have proof of financial security in regards to purchasing the home. Is this legal? I accepted their offer now they're pulling it away.

**A: does this mean that you countered the Seller's counter offer?
*******
I then accepted the seller's counter offer.

**A: if you countered the Seller's counter offer then the Seller's original counter offer was null and void if not accepted by the date of acceptance in the contract.

**A: you offered a lower price than as stated in the Seller's counter offer and the seller did not accept.

**A: if you accepted the Seller's counter instead of countering, then you would have had a deal.

sorry to bother, but after i countered the offer the seller made, they said i had until 5pm to accept the terms before i countered. i accepted it and they still pulled out, doesn't that sound wrong?

That's your opinion although the contract speaks for itself.
