What is the name of your state? I live in Vermont, but the property I'm selling is in Tennessee.

What dose this mean????

This is the beginning of the Warranty Deed the byer wants us to sign.
Know all men by these presents: That we, the undersigned Patrick A. Thompson and wife Carina M. Thompson, have bargained and sold by these presents do hereby transfer and convey unto Larry R. ---- and wife, as tenants by the entirety, their heirs and assigns, for the consideration of ($1.00) One Dollar and other good and valuable considerations, the receipt of which is hereby acknowleged, certain real estate in the 7th Civil District of Lewis County, Tennessee described as follows:

Dose this mean he wants us to sell this property to him for $1.00????!!!

See the buyer Larry is a lawyer and he is drawing all the paperwork up and wants us to sign it and send it to another lawyer that is supposed to be representing us, but I can't seem to get him on the phone to ask these questions. Larry R. Dorning is supposed to be buying the property for $35,000.00.
