I just bought a brand new house 10 months ago. I am trying to refinance my mortgage. A title search was done on the property for refinancing. It turned out that there is a demolition lean on the property dated back in 1997 which was recorded in City of New York Clerks Office 3 days after the closing. Thus this record wasn't made public at the time of closing. What can i possibly do to have it removed.
Do i need to sue the seller or the title company that did the title search at the time of purchase. Thanks in advance
