we have made an offer to purchase a home. the seller countered with stipulation we carry a bridge loan, husband accepted. we have ammended to remove the bridge loan requirement as we have sold our house and are proceeding to close. the seller has not responded to our ammendment and their realtor has not deposited the earnest money. the seller's realtor is claiming no contract, is that true? we cannot carry a bridge loan, per lender. are we in a contract? who gets the earnest money?
