Contract with listing agent

I live in Las Vegas, Nevada. About one month ago I signed a 6 month listing agreement with a realestate agent. My circumstances have now changed and I no longer want to sell my house. If the agent does not agree to withdraw the house from the market, what are my options? The contract states that the commission shall be paid to the broker if the house is withdrawn from sale or "made unmarketable by a voluntary act of the Seller without permission from the agent".

Is our only option to hold out for the full asking price, or could that be considered making the house unmarketable? This is a situtation that must happen often. How is is ususlly handled?

Talk to the broker and explain the circumstances.

Contract with listing agent

I intend to do that, but am trying to prepare for the worst. If she refuses to stop marketing the house - do I have to sell if for anything less than the full list price?
