Contract for Sale of Real Estate

I met with a real estate agent to sale my home which is in a n area which is zoned commercial. I signed a contrac to sale but within minutes after the agent left, I was having second thoughts and wanted to back out. I immediately called his home number and left a message for him to call me. He did not call me that night nor the next morning. I sent him an e-mail at 8:30 the next morning to tell him that I had second thoughts just after he left and could I have more time to consider the matter. He wrote back that he would hold off until hearing further from me. Am I still bound by the contract? How do I proceed if I decide that I do not agree with the contract after thinking about it for a couple of days?

Just tell him you wish to terminate the listing agreement and follow up in writing.
