Contract termination - wife is out of townWhat is the name of your state? New Mexico What is the name of your state? New Mexico My wife and I entered into a contract to purchase a house through a realator. We both signed the contract. My wife had to leave town until the day before closing. After the inspection, I found problems with the house and wish to terminate the contract. Do I need my wife's signature on the objection letter to terminate, since we both signed the contract? Or do I just need mine? Also, the contract says nothing about the objection having to be in writing. Is a verbal objection good enough? Thanks, jim |

| You are going to have to read the sales agreement very closely to see what circumstances MIGHT allow you to cancel the contract (you can't cancel without a permissable cause). And if you do have the right to cancel, ALL parties will need to agree to it.... including your wife.
__________________ There are at least 17 lawsuits (!!) pending in various courts, including the US Supreme Court, asking if Obama is a natural born citizen (as req'd by Art II, Sec 1 of the US Constitution). Why has he spent over $1.35M in legal fees to block disclosure... rather than spend $12 for a VALID birth cert to settle the matter? The 'certificate' he has presented doesn't qualify to get a drivers license, wouldn't allow a child to qualify for Little League, or for a real citizen to get a US passport! |
